Advertisement Product to buy for sellers "Ad Bidding":
What we have developed:
An advertisement product similar to Google AdWords which shows advertised results at the first four rows of any search has been developed.
These ads are powered products of n11.com’s platform sellers. Rankings calculated on different factors like how long the seller has been on the platform or how much he usually spends for advertisement and also their bid for the advertisement are considered in this ranking.
My role:
I was responsible about the architecture as well as the development of this product as part of a team. I lead colleagues and also junior developers, spread work between them and also took part as a developer.
Advertisement Product to buy for sellers "Sponsored Shop:
What we have developed:
An advertisement product has been developed which gives n11.com’s sellers the opportunity to show their shops as banner advertisements above certain keyword-based product searches. Furthermore 3 or 4 products must be selected by the seller to show them on the banner to advertise. Similar to the round robin principle advertised shop banners are exchanged when the same search is triggered again. At this way up to 4 sellers can be advertised at the same day for the same keyword.
My role:
I was responsible about the development of the product as part of a team. Mainly Spring, Hibernate, Thymeleaf and JSF/Primefaces for the extension of the monolith application, Couchbase as key-value-cache and Oracle as DB has been used as technologies.
