Main activities:
- Customer interface for all project open points
- Refining System Requirements from Customer requirements
- Support to OEM in analysis of new features/functionality integration
- Realization of System Architecture and requirements in order to achieve cost-effective and reliable product
- Support in acquisition of similar products to other OEMs by providing preliminary System Design and cost estimation
- Providing technical support and performing reviews for all stakeholders and domains involved in product development
- Support in setting project timeline and content according to customer milestones
- Analysis on progress of realization of the product quality and timing milestones
- Root-cause analysis and reporting on product issues

This role was carried out for a Trailer Light module project for the North American OEM General Motors, having as main functionalities the control of the trailer lights and self-detection of trailer presence. Other key aspects of this project are:
- ASIL A safety rating
- Cyber Security requirements
- compliance to both European and North-American specific lighting requirements.
- Specific OEM low speed single-wire CAN protocol ( GM-LAN )
- Specific OEM Diagnostic protocol ( KWP2000 )

Main activities:
- Support in the acquisition phase of this project and for new customers for similar products by creating preliminary architectures and providing cost estimation
- Analysis of Functional Customer requirements
- Customer interface for all SW related open points
- Onsite support at OEM facility for roll-out of product in test vehicles
- Risk analysis and reporting to customer on open issues
- Refining Customer requirements into System/SW requirements
- Overall SW Architecture design according to SW requirements and project milestones
- Requirement traceability and test coverage to achieve project quality milestones
- Analysis and design of functional concepts according to HW and system requirements and constraints
- Analysis on integration of in-house functional concepts and SW modules in order to achieve OEM requirements
- Safety analysis on SW concepts and architecture
- Support for Technical Safety Case realization with Safety Manager
- Support for System Architecture realization in collaboration with System Engineer
- Support and realization of Cyber Security concepts and implementation according specific customer requirements
- Participating in definition of the FMEA analysis and design
- Interface between all stakeholders involved in defining and maintenance of SW modules and concepts
- Review on test case implementation and specification from ENG7 to ENG10 levels

Software developer in a trailer tow module project meant for the major German OEMs. The ECU was developer to be AUTOSAR compliant, with main functionalities the control of the trailer lights, gateway functionality to external LIN slave modules, and the control of an electrical or semi-electrical tow bar. Other key aspects for this project would be, the fact that, it is developed to accomplish ASIL B functional safety
rating and it was designed to be a platform project.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of handwritten SW Modules in ANSI C language following AUTOSAR and MISRA rules
- Design and implementation of model-based SW Modules in MatLab using TargetLink and Simulink following AUTOSAR and MISRA rules
- Maintaining a platform approach for modules in responsibility
- Configuration and maintenance of Communication Stack modules ( CAN and LIN )
- Integration and specific customer adaptation for each CAN and LIN message databases
- Supporting analysis on SW Architecture changes for customer change requests
- Support and configuration of Diagnostics Stack related concepts according to ISO 14229
- Perform developer test and Acceptance-test for software validation
- Root-cause analysis and debugging of issues reported on the field but also local testing teams
- Module unit design requirements
- Software Architecture requirements
- Module unit testing specification review
