INTEGRATING GROUP PRODUCT INTO DWH (2024 - today)
Upgrading Data Warehouse (DWH) by integrating products from group members and seamlessly aligning it with CRM system. Key responsibilities include analysing business requirements and documentation, extending the existing data model to adapt new products, and implementation and redesign of ETL processes to ensure seamless integration.

INTEGRATING SME INTO OCRM (2023)
Integration project for incorporating small and medium legal entities customer segment into operational CRM system. The project encompassed multiple objectives: firstly, the migration of IBM DataStage jobs initially tailored for the retail customer segment to Oracle ODI 12c, ensuring a smooth transition. Secondly, to design and implement an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solution specifically meeting the needs of the small and medium legal entities customer segment. In all project phases the focus was to speed up operations, improve data integrity and streamline future maintenance efforts.

DWH EURO CURRENCY ADOPTION (2022 - 2023)
Planning, execution, and system modifications to facilitate integration of the EUR currency into financial reporting and operations within Eurozone regulations. Project activities included analysis of existing system, transition planning, preparation of new infrastructure, data model enhancements, data migration and modifications of the ETL/ELT procedures (business and technical adaptations).

MIGRATION TO NEW DATA ARCHITECTURE (2020 - 2022)
Migrating and transforming existing IBM DataStage infrastructure to Oracle ODI12c. Within the new data architecture, Oracle ODI12c leverages a Data Lake as a primary data source, where data from source systems is replicated on HDFS with the presentation layer hosted on a PostgreSQL database. Orchestration of all components that refresh data lake and execute Oracle ODI mappings was implemented using Apache Airflow.

DWH SYSTEM UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE (2019 - 2020)
Upgrading and maintenance of the existing DWH system. Tasks include implementation of new and upgrading of existing functionalities of DWH. Additional tasks include upgrading and maintaining the system for integrating data from business (core) systems and DWH with the mobile banking system (near real time updating of data in the mobile application).

DATA WAREHOUSE & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PROJECT (2018 - today)
As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance and consolidate reporting systems and business processes, Wiener osiguranje Vienna Insurance Group d.d. has launched the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) project. Given complexity of Client’s existing core systems and legacy systems (resulting from multiple mergers) during the analysis phase was clear that final solution will require tailored Data model to support all the business needs. New data architecture, built upon Microsoft stack, included all important layers: Staging and Operational Data Store, serving as a Data Lake to store and manage the complete history of all core applications and systems on daily basis, Enterprise Model, consolidating insurance data from multiple sources into a unified framework, Target Model, adopting a Star model design optimized for reporting and analytical purposes, Reporting layer, featuring 150+ standardized SSRS reports, as well as Ad Hoc reporting capabilities through SSAS (Tabular model) and Power BI. The daily and monthly data loading dynamics have been completely automated using DataShift's integration framework. Data integrity has been upheld through the implementation of a Data Quality Module, having more than 200 checks and rules that notify users of any inconsistencies detected within core systems or across various core systems, ensuring the quality of the company's data. Over time, the new Data Warehouse (DWH) evolved into the client's core system, serving as the foundation for regulatory, group, and internal reporting. CUSTOMER & AGENT 360 PROJECT (2022 - 2024)
Implementation of comprehensive view of customers and sales agents on daily basis. It involves data modelling, integrating and consolidating customer and agent data from multiple core systems and implementing analytics & KPI's to enhance service delivery, sales strategies, and operational efficiency. IFRS17 STANDARD DWH IMPLEMENTATION (2022 - 2023)
Implementation of IFRS17 accounting standards in Wiener osiguranje Data Warehouse (DWH) system with objective to facilitate accurate and transparent financial reporting in accordance with standard's requirements while optimizing data management processes within the DWH. This process involves several key activities, including assessing data readiness, designing data models, developing calculation engines, integrating with actuarial calculations, ensuring data governance, and establishing ongoing monitoring and maintenance procedures. The main activities focus on enhancing the core Data Warehouse (DWH), extending the data model, and loading historical data to support necessary functionalities. New Data Mart has been established to facilitate the export of records prepared for processing in the VIG Group IFRS solution.

COMMISSION MANAGEMENT SOLUTION (2020 - 2022)
Project is set to redesign, digitalize and automate commission management processes across multiple Departments within Company. During the first phase the project included: Consolidation of commission calculation data from all core systems into the DWH, Parameterization of commission calculation (interventions in the calculation process and commission payment), Implementation of additional algorithms on consolidated commission data, Fee and bonus commission allocation for the IFRS17 project, Implementation of an analytical reporting module, Standardized reports for monitoring and reporting, Integration with booking processes (incentives, salaries, external partner fees, automation of journal entries for SAP general ledger), Automation of processing in daily mode, Integrating data to external systems/applications, Data Quality module for data administration and synchronization among core systems. During the second phase, the decommissioning of the core system led to the implementation of the calculation algorithm as an upgrade to the existing module.

REO MODULE - RENSURANCE CALCULATION AND REPORTING (2018 - 2019)
Reinsurance Calculation and Reporting Module involves creating a specialized module connected to the Data Warehouse (DWH) to handle reinsurance-related calculations and reporting. This project includes the integration of reinsurance data sources, parametrizations, development of calculation algorithms, implementation of reporting and analytics functionalities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The project's objective is to provide a daily automated solution that streamlines the reinsurance calculation process, mitigates the risk of manual error and decreases the time needed for reinsurance calculations during the reporting period closure.
