As part of my current role, I am actively involved in the design and implementation of a strategic SOA enabled - service bus architecture, which spans across front- to back-office for the Macquarie Securities Group as well as the Derivatives business. I am responsible for scoping, implementing and continuously enhancing the in-house enterprise service to incorporate new technologies such as low latency messaging; in-memory caching; geographically aware data routing; or simple data-crunching through usage of dynamically scaling processor farms. This information bus will provide the basic foundation for a low latency, high volume trading & execution platform. As part of my role I help & advise traders / desks and have my team ready to build customized solutions to extend, stabilize and monitor this platform. Technology aside, one of the hidden challenges is to promote service re-usability - encourage the use of fast paced development methodologies such as agile/scrum/XP as well as providing developers a central platform for all kinds of integration purposes.
In my role as head of global integration, I am the active program manager for a multi-million program of work and a team responsibility of about 25+ developers located around the globe.
I am heavily involved in program and budget management, forecasting & tracking; team management and career planning.

One of the largest CHT implementations for Accenture at the time, partially developed in Manila Philippines. Areas of expertise were Enterprise Architecture in combination with webMethods product suite.

1/2000 – 1/2004

I joined Accenture as an analyst in the Munich office, Germany. My area of expertise was the Global architecture / Core Technologies arm of Accenture.
Within my 5 years of working at Accenture, I was allowed to travel to a number of large scale projects all over the world. My technical driven background allowed me to add substantial value to these projects. In the end of 2004 / beginning of 2005 I resigned as a senior consultant , leaving Germany to relocate to Australia.
