Project work:

 Definition: Redesigning and Modification of biscuit sandwiching machine to enhance the productivity.

 Description: Old biscuit sandwiching machine was fully mechanically operated system. So we replace that machine by new machine which contains microcontroller, Pneumatic cylinder, Pneumatic piston, Pneumatic valve and sensors. By this we have lighten the weight of whole system and ultimately increased the productivity of the system.

 Future scope: We can operate more machines using one microcontroller by connecting parallely.

 Comparison between current and proposed design on the basis of productivity :

Current machine :- Production rate is 70 biscuits/minute.
:- Average rejection rate is 3.5 biscuits/minute.
:- 4-5 workers are required.

Proposed design :- Production rate will 100 biscuits/minute.
:- Average rejection rate can be reduced.
:- 1-2 workers will be required.
