End-to-End Project Management
I started my UX/UI Design experience working for leading Polish publisher Agora, where I created a lot of user-centred web apps and high conversion websites. I ended up designing major parts of Poland's of the most influential and acknowledged newspaper, with an intellectual audience. As the first designer in the company's history, I managed to satisfy a very demanding head of the newspaper, without any negative feedback.
During my last employment at Source Corp, I flourished in a position of being fully responsible for designing many products and improving the standards of the company, ofter being required to build a design from the ground up. It was a comprehensive challenge to work for such little resources. The CEO would acknowledge that he had been searching for such a designer for 20 years. I resigned because of galloping polish homophobia and all resources being focused on one project which was not moving forward for over a year.
In the work environment, I value maintaining good relations with colleagues, being granted full responsibility in projects and being able to personally invest in all areas of the company to which I contribute.
My main focus is on usability and solving practical problems. One of the most significant functions of design is to delight the user, so I love producing aesthetically pleasing designs with a wow-factor.
From my early childhood, I've been extremely passionate about IT. My mother would have to take away the power cable to keep me away from my computer. I have always traversed between arts, humanism and computer science. With both of my parents being humanistic scholars, this also reflects in my nature.
I recently moved out of Poland due to the current political situation. As a gay person, I am highly motivated to settle down in a more progressive society.
I am looking forward to furthering correspondence from you. I thank you in advance for any future opportunities.
