For the Master Thesis an economic feasibility study and environmental impact analysis was carried out for a Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) Manufacturing Business. For this purpose, different scenarios were projected and the most profitable was identified through financial analysis with Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
The environmental impact analysis was carried out through a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). Climate Change was taken as an environmental indicator (GWP kg CO2 eq) and a comparative analysis was made with synthetic plastic compounds.
The Master Thesis was done in collaboration with CIS-MADEIRA, “Galician Innovation and Technological Services Centre for Wood”, within the project VALORNATURE, whose objective is the development of sustainable advanced materials through the use of natural resources.

Supply Chain Mgmt. Performance and Surveillance on Supply Chain Quality at POM (Procurement Operations Materials & Parts). Ensured and demonstrated that all approved Suppliers were continuously under control and met Airbus requirements, performing activities such as Supplier Control Review (200 per year), On-Time Delivery & Rejection rate follow-up, Recovery planning follow-up, Quality Management System & NADCAP management, 8D (Root cause analysis), Quality Assurance Plan and Quality Fundamentals deployment, IPCA+ Action plan follow up.
