SAP Test and Release Manager (m/f/d)

Our partner is one of the world's leading global logistics providers who is at the start of migrating their SAP Finance system landscape ECC 6 with FI-CO, FSCM, LO-AB (Agency Business) models in scope, and GRC and the SAP Solution Manager to the S/4 Hana platform as a greenfield implementation, and consolidating the existing solutions from multiple productive SAP clients into a single S4 productive client with harmonized and standardized business processes and supporting S4 solution. The key activities will be to substitute for the Release and Test manager in planning and managing the execution of the release management process and governance for the whole of the SAP finance systems including business change but also technical changes (e.g. support packages). You will also supervise overall testing effort and ensure adherence to testing processes and procedures.

General Tasks
Release Management
Liaise with business representative in order to gather the content of the release
Manage a change approval board to provide inputs into decision-making process
Manage release scope and release plan and do deployments in SAP solution manager
Communication of the progress of release execution to all stakeholders
Leading release management related governance
Reporting and escalation where applicable
Training and on boarding
Preparing presentations for meetings and minutes
Adjust existing release management approach
Test Management
Adjusting existing test management strategy and process
Coaching regarding test management approach and process
Training and onboarding regarding test management
Setup of test plans and controlling of test execution in SAP solution manager


Experience
Experience in testing and test coordination, ideally in SAP systems
Should have worked at least one end to end implementation project
Below additional skills will be a plus
Experience on SAP solution manager (test suite, CHarM)
Release and Project management experience
International experience wished like collaborating with near shore and offshore teams
Experience in FICO would be an advantage
Fluently written and spoken in English & German
