We are in the middle of product validation and are looking for an experienced user researcher to support us in our journey to determine our customer segments in the market as well as the products we will enter the market with. As part of the product team, you will facilitate the complete research lifecycle, which includes:
• In cooperation with our product team, you identify research goals and research questions and select the appropriate research method
• You lead the conception, planning, implementation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative studies
• Together with our product team you discover and identify product opportunities and solutions, and drive teams to implement global and local product enhancements
• You transform insights gained from user research (customer needs, pains and gains) into formats to enhance organizational understanding of our users
• You create and validate value propositions and product offerings together with the product team
• You synthesize research findings and translate these results into actionable user centered product goals
• You lead the further expansion of our user panel and are responsible for its maintenance
• You create results reports and spread user insights as well as the message of user-centric development across the company

Qualifications that are a must
• Suitable experience in designing, planning, and driving customer research efforts (foundational research) in parts with early stage products and/or in an iterative and collaborative agile early stage startup team environment
• Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodology (analysis, remote testing, and survey evaluation) as well as user-centric development of digital products
• A comprehensive research portfolio that demonstrates a range of methods and issues for the successful conduct of studies
• Familiarity with different research tools – you know when to use which one
• Very good English language skills as well as strong communication skills
• Very strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with leadership qualities
• Willingness to learn, adaptable, self-motivated and an advocate for our product stakeholders
• Detail oriented, organized and very self-sufficient
• min. 32 hours per week

Qualifications that are nice to have
• Hardware Research Experience in B2B and B2C markets
• Experience with statistical analysis
• German language skills
