A comprehensive, end-to-end assessment of the current BI landscape was conducted, covering technological, organizational, and strategic dimensions. The BI Assessment – including a detailed SAC vs. Tableau comparison – surfaced critical challenges, capability gaps, and future opportunities. Based on these insights, a forward-looking BI Strategy was defined, outlining a transformation path from BW on HANA to SAP Datasphere and ultimately SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), establishing an enterprise-wide Single Source of Truth, a Data Validation Process, implementing a Data Catalog and Enterprise Glossary, strengthening Governance, and clarifying the operating model for Self-Service BI vs. Managed Service.
