heycar is the best way to find high quality used cars. By being incubated by Volkswagen Financial Services and BCG Digital Ventures we are in a unique position to disrupt the way people buy and finance used cars in Germany.
I joined heycar two months before launch of the website, as the 5th employee of the venture. I was a part of building and validating the product starting from a team of 10 consultants, to having Germany wide presence with 390,000 cars on the platform and more than 130 employees
• Responsible for an 8-person cross-functional team focusing on customer facing tasks such as acquisition, conversion, filtering, SEO, ranking algorithms and search
• Improved conversion by 4x with iterative feature launches, helping optimize marketing channels, defining and deploying A/B tests, as well as qualitative user research
• Worked closely with design, engineering and management teams on deploying and validating the product, making sure we build a product users like
• Helped teams and processes scale as the company matured, transitioning from a Kanban MVP-focused engineering and product teams, to working in cross-functional scrum teams organized around quarterly OKRs

As a co-founder, I have defined the idea, scoped the competitive landscape, defined unit economics, gathered the initial team and executed on the launch strategy.
During my time at BrewNation, my team and me have:
