Functional Safety and Quality Manager for a new
Electric/Hydrogen Vehicles Manufacturer.
Responsible for:
- the deployment of the ISO 26262 standard (Automotive
Safety) and the safety and quality culture within the
engineering department;
- the definition of an internal Engineering Process based on
ASPICE standard to support the implementation of ISO
26262: Program Plan presented to and approved by Senior
Management (duration = 2 years / internal budget = approx.
900 man.days / external costs = approx. 100Keuros) and to
Automotive staff members;
- the implementation of the new Engineering Process within
a pilot project (Electric/Hydrogen City Bus): Focusing on
Powertrain, Cooling and Battery Management systems:
SYSML Model Based System Engineering (using SOX System
Design & Safety Tool) of the different powertrain functions
(Motor Control, Hydrogen Management, Electric Power
Management...) in order to generate their Item Definitions,
HARAs, Functional and Technical Safety Concepts;
- the Management of the EE systems suppliers in terms of
Functional Safety and Quality Assurance;
- the Management of one Functional Safety Engineer: use of
Tuleap ALM and its Project Management features to plan and
track the FuSa tasks in Gantt Charts, milestones, To Do List,
Epics/User Stories/Releases/Sprints, spent effort vs planned
effort, safety defects etc., weekly FuSa meeting with Head of
SW, daily coaching/mentoring and forstering SYS/SW best
practices from ASPICE/CMMI/PMI, Model Based System
Engineering using SYSML, and safety mindset and
requirements from ISO 26262. Hopefully, a new FuSa
Engineer will join the FuSa Team in Q3/Q4 2023.
- the selection of the SW tooling required to implement the
Engineering Standard Process, ASPICE and ISO 26262
requirements: ALM covering PM, RM, CM, ChM,
Agile/Waterfall processes (TuleAp), FuSa & System Design
tool (ENCO SOX), Configuration/Version Management tools
(Tuleap, SVN, Sharepoint, Confluence etc.)
