I re-architected & did the pilot implementation (with one junior colleague) of
the CI system for 70 developers. Result: fast and consistent deployments in
all major hubs, done by the PO (EMEA) or the respective operations team
Tasks
(CN, US), without interventions from the EMEA based developers.
As part of the assignment I accompanied the transition from one service provider to
another one.

As an individual contributor (team of 6) I worked on productizing a prototype
developer productivity platform (5 figure monthly cloud spend) that was targeted to ship to on-prem in Western Australia. After I introduced cost best
practices early on, we tripled usage and additionally moved external components onto the platform. We came out with a 43% cost reduction total. I also
worked on focus areas like security and AWS integration, and presented results in the customers department sync twice (250 people, topics: ai platform,
cost optimization, FinOps).

I did consulting (3mo, team of 3) for migrating a custom social network to AWS
CN. We recommended moving development to Mainland China, after working out integration patterns and evaluating SaaS availability. The customer
subsequently successfully launched the application.
