Lead the end to end warehouse and distribution process improvement project with an objective to increase warehouse productivity, storage and inventory optimization, transport planning, reverse logistics and FTE rationalization across all sites in Malaysia and Singapore.
1. Realized a total risk adjusted savings of USD 5.6 Mn in the year 2022
Responsible for maintaining project governance structure and steering committee updates on periodic basis
2. Worked closely with the client’s commercial and operations team for developing the future logistics network design using scenario-based modelling keeping in view the business growth projections for the next 10 years
3. Developed conceptual semi-automated picking design for Malaysia’s grocery business and lead the end to end process from design specification, data collection, RFQ and vendor selection
4. Developed the 5 year road map to support the growth of e-commerce business in the region

Omni-Channel Fulfillment Project - Al-Futtaim Retail – Operational (8 months)
1. Developed the omni-channel fulfillment strategy for Southeast Asia business with a goal to offer maximum assortment to the customers leveraging the inventory levels across the network
2. Implemented a low automation omni-channel fulfillment solution at Singapore DC with a combination of Pick to Light and Put to Light system supported with conveyors and sortation system which resulted in 40% improved picking productivity
3. Reduced the order processing lead time from 4 days to 1 day

Supply Chain Transformation Project – Al-Futtaim Retail – Operational (12 months)
1. Responsible for mapping AS-IS processes and benchmarking it against the industry standards
2. Developed the future supply chain network design and implemented the concept of regional distribution centre which delivered a total savings of 6 Mn SGD in the first year
3. Implemented SAP EWM at Singapore DC for Sports and Lifestyle brands which led up to 90% reduction in inventory loss and 30% reduction in manpower cost
