With a 25-year career marked by commercial/operational and strategic leadership in the EMEA region, I recently held the role of Managing Director Germany/Switzerland at Workrate, a leading European provider of mission-critical security solutions. In collaboration with the global leadership team, I was part of the formulation, planning, and execution of the company's overall strategic and financial vision.
My distinctive expertise in developing and expanding German branches for international companies is exemplified by the unprecedented success of Workrate Germany. Within four years, we emerged as the market leader in our business niche, starting from ground zero.
In my preceding role as VP Global Trade Solutions EMEA and Managing Director GSA at BluJay Solutions, a key player in the software (supply chain/logistics/trade) industry, I played an important role in adopting/optimizing the business and ensuring profitability/financial growth within the region. My leadership extended to guiding the EMEA Trade & Compliance (sales and project) teams as well as customs experts, contributing substantially to the overall customer success of BluJay Solutions.
My leadership journey includes effective management of commercial operations in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors. Key positions include Director Commercial Operations EMEA at American Medical Systems B.V., Director Operations DACH at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, and Regional CFO/COO for Genzyme. The basic for all my success comes from a wide and in-depth knowledge Finance, where I hold a Professional Bachelor in Accounting from IHK-Fulda and an associated degree in Taxation and Business administration.
