Recruited in 2014 as a key Professional Services (PS) manager to act as Engagement Manager (EGM), the EGM directs, manages, and supports the execution and delivery of customer solutions from a services perspective. This includes project direction, the performance of project audits and quality checks, participation in client steering committees, and maintenance of client relationships while meeting revenue and profitability targets. In summary, the EGM has responsibility for PS orders, PS revenue, PS profit, engagement planning, engagement staffing, engagement execution, engagement quality, and client satisfaction. The EGM may also provide guidance and investment recommendations to the respective Business Solutions Group in their specialization area. Typically, this position directly reports to the country PS Director. Indirectly, the EGM may direct up to 50 consultants

Initially recruited within the global business and technology services division of HP to control an in-flight Oracle 10g migration project for 500 databases, alongside multiple smaller projects, including: an ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics) and an upgrade (re-implementation) of Hyperion before being appointed to turn around major projects in difficulty across EU while on currently supervising a portfolio of unrelated client projects.

• Implementation of Big Data projects for structured and unstructured data
• Transition Manager for infrastructure operations, including a Helpdesk and Data Centre migration project relocating two data centres from the Czech Republic to Germany.
• Led a global Active Directory implementation and a migration from Lotus Notes to MS Exchange.
• Facilitated the decommissioning of the Mainframe after 15+ years of use having migrated complex legacy applications to a new UNIX platform.
• Transition and Transformation Program Manager for an oil industry Joint Venture in Kazakhstan moving 150 staff from a reactive to controlled mode of operation using HP and client processes and procedures - completed ahead of schedule and under budget of $1.5 m.
• Led a team delivering a UK public sector local government information transformation program.

Promoted from Business Analyst with contracting/ERP expertise to create the commodity trading, contracts and purchase modules of an ERP system before gaining promotion to Global Implementation Manager delivering ADM’s bespoke commodity trading, contracts and settlements system globally alongside a team made up of business users, Business Analysts and Consultants based in The Netherlands, UK, India and USA.
