Worked as part of the Enterprise Application Platform team, supplying the infrastructure for a large scale business application (mostly using Microsoft’s .NET framework). Was responsible for analyzing requirements, specifying and implementing features, creating test cases, fixing bugs and liaising with consultants and clients. Maintained different parts of the code, among them a business critical module to produce form letters.

M.Sc. final thesis with title “Development of a segmentation algorithm for blood vessels in NBI image data from colonoscopy” (final grade: 1.3, "very good", cf. [1])

- Familiarized myself independently with a new field (medical image processing)
- Implemented a complex algorithm; technologies used: Matlab with the Image Processing Toolbox
- Designed and ran a quantitative evaluation
- Wrote an 80+ page thesis with LaTeX
- Presented the results to the institute
- Founded a regular meetup for students doing their final theses to discuss their work
