Main responsibilities:
• Guaranty survey and estimation of coating defects and cases for breakdowns as per accepted standards and NORSOK M-501 standards
• Audit counsultant
• Experience with application contractors (from hands-on application and inspection to more managerial roles), international coatings manufacturers and more recently client project team.
• Corrosion prevention by protective coatings, Glass flake Paints, thermal spray applications, thermal insulation, passive fire protection
• Inspection and quality control of surface preparation and coating activities as per specification for Wind Energy Offshore Jackets
• Varied experience of protective coatings and thermal insulation systems application in the oil and gas industry (onshore and offshore).
• Approval test for paints and coating materials
• Inspection for over coating and galvanized steel and galvanized steel inspection and repairs of damaged area.
• Inspection for preparation and application of passive and fire protection materials
• Inspection of Thermal Spraying with zinc by arc gun and repairs of damaged area.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and Project Reports

My experience with the current employer is a key factor in proving my familiarity with the requested techniques and procedures.
