Job Description
As the Senior Medical Affairs Manager, you are responsible for developing and executing local medical activities aligned with global strategy for Switzerland and Austria.
You will be responsible for launch and pre-launch activities, but also the in-line portfolio across our business units.

Key Responsibilities
·Execute Local Medical Activities: Implement local medical activities aligned with global strategy, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders.
·Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate internally and externally, ensuring alignment of local activities with global strategy.
·Scientific Expertise: Provide high-quality medical advice in assigned therapeutic areas; execute local medical affairs plans in alignment with global strategy; contribute to the identification of supporting physicians.
·Training and Market Preparation: Conduct comprehensive internal staff training; partner with Marketing for market preparation pre- and post-launch; set up strategic plans for product positioning.
·Clinical Awareness and Collaboration: Attend conferences, staying updated; contribute to local clinical project teams; review and approve promotional material while ensuring compliance.
·Regulatory Support and Compliance: Aligh with regulatory teams throughout the product life cycle; oversee clinical trial activities and implement local SOPs for compliance.

Skills & Qualifications
·Scientific and Medical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in providing high-quality scientific and medical advice; stay updated on therapeutic areas and medical advancements. Therefore, a scientific educational background is needed (MD, PhD, M.Sc.) or equivalent by experience.
·Strategic Thinking: Develop and execute local medical affairs plans aligned with global and local strategies; strategically plan for market preparation and product positioning. Ability to comprehend holistic strategical ideas and translate this to comprehensive practical activities.
·Training and Education: Conduct comprehensive training on products and related diseases; collaborate with Marketing for effective market preparation pre- and post-launch. Therefore, local language knowledge is needed (English, then German and/or French) and someone should bring launch experience.
·Collaboration and Communication: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders; communicate medical messages and foster partnerships. Work with global and local teams.
