High Voltage System - Vehicle Test Engineer | 80% Remote | 9 Months

My client is looking for electrified vehicle specialist engineer to support Heavy-Duty Trucks development phase for BEV (Battery Electrical Vehicle) and FCEV (Fuel Cell Electrical Vehicle) vehicles.

System Test Engineer will support development and release process for Design Validation Plan (DVP – system test case collection).

Responsibilities:
- Creation of benchmarking test list, support benchmarking activities with instrumentation setup and test planning, promote benchmarking activities
- Starting from System RQs he develop System Test Cases, when absent starting from vehicle architecture, VFs, CAN Matrix deliver list of test cases based on “best practice” prioritizing Safety, then Reliability and Design targets
- Create test method and test procedure to validate HV system functions supported by the technical function responsible
- Organize test cases into Test Plan, update and monitor the progress;
Schedule the testing activities (test benches, vehicle and resources) based on test plan
- HV System champion for the candidate truck or system test bench, responsible for the test commissioning (test equipment preparation, test setup)
- Responsible to promote the purchasing of new tools for testing
- Test cases execution, data analysis and reporting
- HV Integration Test benches development and maintenance management
- Support the vehicle commissioning for the issues related to HV system
- Support the definition of HV safety requirements for End Of Line and Commissioning
- Support the definition of the key performance targets for the new generation HV system
- Support commissioning and testing activities outside of the plant at testing supplier site
- Support the trouble shooting discovered during the field test campaign

Requirements:
- Proven hands-on BEV projects (>400V) testing vehicle or system functions and components (DCDCs, Batteries, Inverters)
- DGUV lev 3 Certificate/Course or similar (if DGUV2 try to cover
Skilled user of: Requirement management tools, CANoe, CANape, JIRA, CANalyzer
- Knowledge on Energy & Power Management / Charging / HV safety
- Knowledge on HW validation process: EMC/NVH, HV components performances/durability, IP grade, shut off (fuses)
- HV component testing experience
