Projekt: Solution Architect (m/w/d) München / Remote

* Remoteanteil: yes up to 30% - 50%
* Utilization: Fulltime


Task Description :

The tasks expected from a Solution/Technical Architect are the following but not limited to

* Commit to MR Essentials methodology and ensure an agile way of working in the product teams.
* Ensure adherence to Azure DevOps guidelines in all deliverables.
* Ensure adequate quality standards for architecture, where MR has veto decision right on issues concerning architecture.
* All services are provided compliant to defined MR standards (Authorization, Guidelines, Conventions)
* Analysis, design, implementation and testing of new product functionalities from the clarification of business needs up to the Integration system and the rollout to the production (full release scope).
* Effort estimation, technical documentation of solutions in MR-Repositories, IT testing
* Documentation of effort for activities and reporting on demand
* Participate in the definition of the product roadmaps (business and technical) having the business value as a core principle.
* Implement DevOps activities in the product team to streamline development and operations.
* Ensure product-specific operations activities for all MR product environments.
* Drive the efficiency gains initiatives in various aspects (costs, quality, way of working, process automation) by implementation of continuous improvement activities. The benefits for the MR should be measurable.
* Creation of concepts based on customer requirements, which in turn come from the features and milestones from the product backlog.
* Independent consulting, conception, and development of the UWPF database architecture, use and development of MS-SQL Server / Oracle as well as the use of Azure DevOps technologies for source code management and documentation of project progress.
* Maintenance/bug fixing/adaptation/improvement of existing software and applications regarding the new requirements.
* Presentation of the work results in the review meetings
* Carrying out code reviews via pull requests
* Facilitate discussions to drive agreement of the system requirements and ensure appropriate gathering, documenting, modelling and specification of correct and clear business requirements and Documentation must be stored in Munich Re´s Azure Devops tool.
* Develop and implement the features and change requests for development and enhancement including requested analysis and design activities and required documentation


Must Have Skills:

* Maintenance/bug fixing/adaptation/improvement of existing software and applications regarding the new requirements.
* Presentation of the work results in the review meetings
* Carrying out code reviews via pull requests
