PL1 / Mainframe Solution Engineer

Job Overview:
Join us in an IT software engineering role to deliver high quality software products for Securities Corporate Actions, Income and Redemptions (CAIR) in MCA Engineering Team

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you are responsible for the transformation of business requirements into valuable end-to-end IT Business services along with 3rd level support activities. In an agile application software environment, you will develop, test, design, manage and support high quality systems.

Essential Skills:
• IBM Mainframe, Z/OS, PL/1, IMS, DB2, Webservices and SQL.
• MQ, Control M, JIRA, SNOW
• Experience in 3rd level support
• Experience in Writing technical Spec, design solution, coding, testing & impact analysis.
• Result-orientated team player with a pragmatic approach and good communication skills

Desired Skills:
• Knowhow about asset servicing area/corporate actions is preferable.
• Knowledge of tools like Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visio, Topaz, ISPW

Experience Level:
• 8+ years

Education :
• Graduate degree or higher education in Computer Science or equivalent
