Firmware Developer (BLE) – Semiconductor & Medical Device - Leuven – 12 Months

My client, one of the large semiconductor companies of the Leuven area are URGENTLY looking for an Embedded (Firmware) Developer to come onboard ASAP for a project focused on medical devices. Experience with BLE and/or other wireless communication systems will be highly valued.

This is a 12-month contract and will require a hybrid working capacity at the location in Leuven.

Tech Stack:
• Strong experience in Embedded C / Firmware Development.
• Experience with BLE and/or other wireless communication systems.
• Good knowledge of Microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
• Experience in the Semiconductor sector would be valued.

Responsibilities:
• Crafting software designs.
• Conducting feasibility studies to validate estimations.
• Facilitating or participating in collaborative design reviews with peers and Software Architects.
• Documenting software components comprehensively.
• Planning your assignments and providing progress reports.
• Contributing to the specification and enhancement of automated regression test frameworks.
• Documenting functional and performance specifications, designing test cases, and formulating test strategies.
• Collaborating with the development team to implement module, system, and end-to-end tests (covering both functional and performance aspects) within the test framework.
