Functional Safety Manager ISO 26262

Lead the charge in ensuring the safety and reliability of automotive systems. I'm seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead functional safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement functional safety strategies for automotive projects, adhering to ISO 26262 standards.
Lead and coordinate safety activities throughout the product development lifecycle, including hazard analysis, risk assessments, and safety concept definition.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety requirements into system architecture, design, and validation processes.
Oversee safety-related documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for functional safety inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

10+ years extensive experience in functional safety management within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of ISO 26262.
Proven track record of leading safety-critical projects and navigating regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
