We are currently looking for an Analysis Engineer (Propulsion)/Analysis Engineer (Propulsion) for an exciting project with one of our customers.

Your tasks:
+ Dimensioning and stress analysis of drive unit structures using hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM) and optimization techniques
+ Creation, management and validation of detailed FE models of complete drive structures and systems with responsibility for the entire workflow of numerical modeling, solution and post-processing
+ Produce clear and concise technical reports and documentation
+ Review and control of internal and supplier analysis data
+ Coordinate work with team leaders, technical suppliers and engineers from mechanical design, manufacturing and testing throughout the product development process to develop drive units and attachments with exceptional performance

+ Sizing and stress analysis of propulsion unit structures by means of hand
calculations, numerical simulations (FEM) and optimization techniques
+ Create, manage and validate detailed FE models of complete propulsion structures
and systems, with responsibility for the full workflow of numerical modeling, solving
and post-processing
+ Creation of clear and concise technical reports and documentation
+ Reviewing and checking of internal and supplier analysis data
+ Work closely with your Team Lead, Engineering Suppliers and Engineers from
Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Testing throughout the entire product
development process to develop propulsion unit structures and attachments with
exceptional performance


Requirements:
Must have:
+ Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
+ More than 8 years of experience in structural analysis, with application to aircraft primary structures and/or engines and pylons
+ Advanced knowledge of stress analysis techniques according to established standards for CFRP and metallic structures, especially for complex assemblies
+ In-depth understanding of loading scenarios and mechanical behavior of aircraft structures, especially complex assemblies
+ Extensive working experience with the commercial implicit FE code OptiStruct and corresponding pre- and post-processing tools (HyperMesh and HyperView)
+ Fluent English skills are required; fluent German skills or knowledge of another language would be an advantage

+ Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
field
+ 8+ years of experience in structural analysis, with application to aircraft primarily
structures and/or engines and pylons
+ Advanced knowledge of stress analysis methods following established standards for
CFRP and metallic structures, particularly for complex assemblies
+ In-depth understanding of the loading scenarios and mechanical behavior of
aircraft structures, particularly complex multipart assemblies
+ Extensive working experience with the commercial implicit FE code OptiStruct, and
corresponding pre- and post-processing tools (HyperMesh and HyperView)
+ Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial

Nice to have:
+ Experience in vibration analysis such as modal, harmonic or forced response, random vibration, rotor dynamics is not essential but would be an advantage
+ Experience in experimental methods for certification and verification
