Powertrain Engineer - 6 months + extensions, fully remote

We're seeking a talented Powertrain Engineer to join our automotive customer and help shape the future of mobility.

Responsibilities:

Develop innovative powertrain solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and emissions standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate powertrain systems into vehicle designs.
Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize powertrain performance and fuel economy.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Support prototype builds and testing to validate powertrain designs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in powertrain development, including engine, transmission, and drivetrain systems.
Proficiency in simulation and modeling software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and combustion processes.
