TERMS

• The project is scheduled to start in July 2024 and will run for approximately 15+ months until at least the end of September 2025 (with the option to extend).
• Contract type: fixed-term employment or freelance project.


RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HSE Manager at our facility, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing our safety protocols. Your primary focus will be on the administration of safety-related tasks, ensuring compliance with both regulatory and internal standards, and maintaining a secure working environment for all employees and contractors on site.

• Manage safety administration tasks including:
• Preparing prevention plans.
• Reviewing and validating work procedures.
• Preparing work permits and related documentation.
• Conduct on-site safety inspections, including:
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance checks.
• Ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the construction site.
• Monitoring work processes for adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinating activities among subcontractors, and liaising with production and maintenance teams to ensure safety.
• Operate within a high-level SEVESO environmental setting.
• Engage with a Brownfield project environment.
• Work in ATEX-regulated areas.
• Conduct construction activities without halting production.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in French (C2 level) and English (B2 level).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to implement compliance measures.
• Proficient in the use of HSE management systems and software.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
