Automation engineer | PLC | Bremen | Hybrid

My client is seeking an experienced professional in the field of PLC Automation for our semiconductor technology department. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for programming control systems for the advanced semiconductor equipment. Working closely with our interdisciplinary team, you will continuously optimize our automation processes.

Tasks

- Development and programming of control software for machines and plants in TIA Portal.
Creation of visualizations and user interfaces with Siemens WinCC-Flexible or similar
- Carrying out virtual software testing in a simulated test environment and commissioning activities at the machine and prepare test reports.
- Support the functioning of the machine.
- Troubleshooting the faults at the machine and provide solutions to fix the problems.
- Creating instructions and training for the operations and preparation of user documentation.


Requirements

- At least 10 years within the field of electrical engineering, Mechatronics or Automation, automation software.
-Expertise with Siemens Automation (TIA Portal)
- Ladder Logic, FBD and ST.
- Independent error analysis and troubleshooting (Test and Debug).
- German and English fluent.
