Tasks for this project:

* Support EL IS Infrastructure cloud strategy adoption by defining and productionalizing the new standard cloud based solutions in alignment with EL Infrastructure Lead Architect
* In cooperation with EL IS Infrastructure Architecture lead ensure the standard EL IS cloud based solutions and services are considered by project and business teams.
* Continuous development and optimization of the Google and Azure infrastructure architecture and supporting the adoption of cloud based IT solutions within Electrification and its Operating Companies together with the fellow cloud architects in regions
* Identify, collect and develop EL wide cloud standards in collaboration with local EL IS delivery teams, fellow architects and partner vendors.
* Drives the initiatives related to evaluating, testing and adoption of cloud native services and solutions at scale.
* Works with internal and external partners to accelerate the implementation of automation around cloud infrastructure and related processes accelerating infrastructure delivery process and supporting the implementation of the new DevOps based service model.
* Support definition and maintain the architectural roadmaps for cloud platforms and related cloud native technologies used within EL.
* Support the business and IT projects by providing technical knowledge and insights around cloud ensuring project technical and commercial viability as well as successful deployment.
* Supports delivery organization to identify areas of improvements regarding cloud technology, performance, service continuity, cost etc.
* Ensures technology compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic direction


Experience

* Requires 10 or more years of relevant experience in IT. Preferably in complex IT environments.
* Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure and cloud based solutions based on GCP and Azure
* Well acquainted with Google and Azure cloud architecture frameworks and techniques.
* Good knowledge of networking concepts and solutions including WAN (SD-), LAN, DNS, firewalls, load balancers etc.
* Experience designing and implementing different disaster recovery solutions on-premises and cloud related
* Experience on implementing DevOps model within the organization is beneficial.
