For our client we are looking for a Principal Storage and Backup Architect (f/m/d).

Management Description:
We are requesting the service of Principal Storage and Backup Architect to support our project team in the planning and implementation of highly available and scalable storage and backup solutions for our IT infrastructure. The service is expected to have in-depth knowledge of storage technologies, backup solutions, and data protection strategies, and to be capable of tackling complex technical challenges and developing innovative solutions.

Service/Task Description:
- Implementation and Integration: Leading and overseeing the implementation and integration of storage and backup solutions into the existing IT infrastructure.
- Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of storage and backup infrastructure, and training employees on their usage.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing a comprehensive storage and backup strategy that aligns with business requirements and future growth goals.
- Architectural Solutions: Designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and secure storage and backup solutions using industry-leading technologies.
- Evaluation and Selection: Assessing and selecting storage hardware, backup software, and data protection solutions based on specific requirements and budget.
- Optimization and Performance: Optimizing storage and backup performance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving storage and backup issues to minimize system disruptions and data loss.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a storage and backup architect or in a similar position.

Certifications in storage technologies such as HPE Storage are advantageous,
VMware vSAN, Veeam Backup & Replication, NetApp ONTAP, etc., are advantageous.

Expertise: In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage, and object storage.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of backup software, data protection strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
Good knowledge of Ransomware Protection / Recovery technologies
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good project management skills.

Supported Languages: English. German would be advantageous.
