For our client we are looking for a Security & Compliance Lead (f/m/d).

Start: asap / 03.06.2024
Duration: 31.12.2024++
Workload: Full-time
Location: Berlin, 75% remote (3 weeks remote / 1 week Berlin), up to 50% onsite
Role:
The security and compliance lead within the Infrastructure product line plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the critical infrastructure, data, and operations of the organization against cybersecurity threats and ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust security posture and compliance framework tailored to the unique challenges and requirements of the energy sector.
Targets:
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT infrastructure security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and systems from unauthorized access, misuse, and breaches.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and prioritize remediation efforts to mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage the internal evolution of security controls and technologies, like encryption, and multi-factor authentication, to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents.
- Investigate security breaches, and coordinate incident response activities to minimize the impact and restore normal operations in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends and assess their potential impact on the cloud platform, and create a roadmap of needed security enhancements.
- Enforce compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing information security and privacy.
Skills (must-have):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in IT security, compliance, and risk management roles, with a deep understanding of security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
- Fluency in English
Skills (should-have):
- Fluency in German
