SQL Developer – Cyber Platform (m/f/d)

For our customer we are looking for a SQL Developer – Cyber Platform (m/f/d) - remote possible


Your tasks:

•  Implement kind of a Star Schema Model (i.e., not fuzlly de-normalized, but also not fully normalized), challenging the model design
• MS SQL Server setup and development activities, ETL pipelines, Partitioning, optimized index settings
• Stored Procedures to transform de-normalized input into the target model (incl. insert, update, delete of dimensional tables and filling in IDs in fact tables)

Optional: CDC or an easy-to-implement alternative to prepare incremental updates to a) a SSAS model and b) a DWH model
• SQL development, Building high quality data bases, MS SQL Server setup and development activities, Partitioning, optimized index settings, Star Schema Model (i.e., not fully de-normalized, but also not fully normalized), challenging the model design
• Stored Procedures to transform de-normalized input into the target model (incl. insert, update, delete of dimensional tables and filling in IDs in fact tables)
• Manage schema properties


Optional: 

- CDC or an easy-to-implement alternative to prepare incremental updates to a) a SSAS model and b) a DWH model

-Data pipelines, Create data migration model 

Working tool: Azure DevOps

Methodology: SCRUM (according to MR Essentials 3.0)


Your qualifications:

• 8+ years experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience with ETL-Pipelines, partitioning and optimized index settings
• Knowledge in implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) or alternative
• Ability to implement a partially normalized Star Schema model and challenge the model design
• English language skills
• Experience with easy-to-implement alternative to prepare incremental updates to a) a SSAS model and b) a DWH model
• German language skills
