Project Manager - PV Solar Farm

Role: Project Manager in Photovoltaic systems and plant
Employment Type: Contract/Freelance
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: Competitive (Hourly)

Responsibilities:

Project Management Excellence: Lead the management of photovoltaic projects nationwide, overseeing grid-connected and off-grid installations, including ground-mounted and floating projects.

End-to-End Project Supervision: Guide projects from initial bidding through construction oversight to final handover to clients, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with project teams, including engineers, site managers, and procurement specialists, to ensure seamless coordination and efficient execution.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with national and international suppliers, customers, and partners to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and drive successful project outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare tender documents, respond to inquiries, and deliver compelling internal and external presentations to stakeholders.

Process Improvement: Implement and refine project management and administrative processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Profile:

Technical Expertise: Hold a university degree in a relevant technical field or possess equivalent qualifications, with a solid understanding of photovoltaic systems and renewable energy technologies.

Project Management Skills: Demonstrate several years of professional project management experience in German utility-scale projects, overseeing installations ranging from 5 to 50MWp. Experience with E9 documents with grid operators.


Language Proficiency: Communicate effectively in German (both written and spoken), with proficiency in English considered a strong asset.

Software Proficiency: Possess proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, MS Project) and familiarity with CAD, PVSyst, and other project design software.
