Senior Technical Programme Manager | Embedded Systems, Automotive, E/E, EV, ADAS, SDV, BESS and AI

I am a Senior Technical Programme Manager and Systems Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in complex product and technology development.

I have worked with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, semiconductor companies, engineering service providers and international technology partners. My experience also includes MedTech, industrial automation, M2M, IoT, energy systems and AI enabled applications.

I support projects across the complete product lifecycle, from the initial idea, feasibility assessment and requirements definition through system architecture, hardware and software development, integration, verification and validation to industrialisation, certification, SOP and series production.

My work focuses on complex embedded and distributed systems in which hardware, software, electronics, mechanics, connectivity and cloud services must work together reliably. I combine strong technical understanding with programme leadership, commercial awareness and a clear view of the overall system.

Technical Focus

My main areas of experience include E/E architectures, embedded systems, ECU and domain controller development, gateways, zonal architectures and software defined vehicles.

I have worked on electrification and energy systems, including electric powertrains, battery management systems, inverters, charging solutions and battery energy storage systems.

Further areas include ADAS and automated driving from Level 2 to Level 4+, sensor systems, sensor fusion, HMI, infotainment, interior and exterior lighting, haptic interfaces, connectivity, OTA updates and V2X communication.

I also have experience with MCU and SoC platforms, semiconductor integration, real time systems, Linux, C, C++, Python, AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive, CAN, CAN FD, CAN XL, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet and 10BASE T1S.

Programme and System Responsibility

Depending on the project, I work as Technical Programme Manager, Technical Project Manager, Systems Engineer, System Owner, Functional Owner, Domain Lead, Technical Lead or Senior Interim Manager.

I take responsibility at the interface between engineering, suppliers, customers and management. This includes programme planning, requirements management, technical coordination, supplier selection, RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, risk and change management, quality assurance, release planning and executive reporting.

I lead international and cross functional teams and coordinate stakeholders across hardware, software, systems engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality, purchasing and supply chain.

Quality, Safety and Compliance

I have worked with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 61508 and IEC 60601.

My experience includes functional safety, cybersecurity, FMEA, FTA, DV, PV, HIL, system integration, EMC and EMI testing, supplier quality, conformity assessment, homologation and preparation for international market launch.

International Experience

I have managed projects and teams across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas. I am used to working across cultures, organisations and time zones and communicate confidently with technical specialists, suppliers, senior management and executive stakeholders.

I speak German, English and Turkish fluently and Chinese at conversational level.
