Designed and validated a direct drive steer-by-wire handwheel actuator end-to-end (A-sample), integrating a high-resolution (16-bit) TAS and redundant Vernier angle sensing, cutting cogging torque below 10 mNm, boosting MRF brake torque density by 30% with<10 ms response, and improving low-speed/high-torque effi ciency by 25%.
- High Voltage Contactor Development :
Engineered a high-voltage contactor from CAD through A-sample, using FEA to boostprototype stiffness by 44% and characterize thermal behavior, running D-FMEA and DOEsprints to neutralize four high-severity risks, and leading test planning, supplier sourcing,and DFM/DFA to deliver on-time A-samples ready for B-sample scaling (pre-PPAP).
