Senior PHP / Laravel engineer with 12+ years of building web applications and backend systems. I work mostly in Laravel: REST and user-facing API design, PostgreSQL and MySQL, queues and scheduled work, and the boring reliability work that keeps APIs predictable. I write tests first with Pest and PHPUnit, with high coverage from day one rather than retrofitted.

On the frontend I build with Livewire and Vue.js, and I am at home with Inertia, React and TypeScript when a project uses them.

Before the web I spent a decade in embedded and IoT, writing firmware in C for Atmel AVR and PIC and building telemetry APIs. That is where I learned to keep data contracts strict and to treat edge cases as the normal case.

I have years of experience in English-only, distributed SCRUM teams across several countries, so remote delivery is the default for me and not an experiment. My working language with clients is English.

- CaptchaAPI - GDPR-first, proof-of-work CAPTCHA for the EU, shipped as a Laravel package and a WordPress plugin.
- Billify - invoicing REST API for the Czech market.
- Exile to Exile - open-source companion app on Laravel 13, PHP 8.4, React, Inertia, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Redis, with automated data releases and CI contract tests.
- POE2 Toolkit - MIT-licensed TypeScript packages on npm.
- Weather Station - Laravel ingest API and Livewire dashboard fed by my own ESP32 firmware.

I work as an independent contractor (Czech OSVC), remote only. Capacity is up to 160 hours per month and part-time engagements are welcome.
